A Holden woman is living out her dream of caring for injured and orphaned wildlife from her home. Krystal Smajkiewicz is one of the state's 175 licensed wildlife rehabilitators. She's seen a big increase in the number of people who are dropping off sick animals at her home. She attributes that to more people being in tune with nature and wildlife, while working from home and social distancing.
